22. March 24, 2014 -22nd Day of Lent

We are the living witnesses for Gods love and glory.

We are always facing challenges in our day to day life. This is challenge may not be a fight or physical situation. The greatest challenge that we always face a day is our mentality. Our feelings and our attitude. This can make us into a worst situation in some cases causing depression, anger, or selfishness, or lust or passions. These are the best way that we get trapped back into the world from our Gods love.

In such moments of confusions, think for a second before falling into such conditions. When we are facing difficult mental tribulations in the form of confusions or decision making or anger or depression or any such tensions or greater happiness in which we may loose the control of our mind. Pray to God and tell God our condition. “Lord at present I am feeling much much happy/lord I am feeling so irritated/ Lord I am feeling so depressed that I feel to burst out/ or Lord I am at present in a trans state, I don't know what to do. Please help me, guide me and save me in Your Mercy” submit for a minute to our Lord. Tell our condition and ask for His help and guidance. No matter what the situation be into which we are going to loose our mind, plead to God in our helplessness. Then proceed, no matter whatever be the condition, we can be sure that God will deliver us, because we are walking with Him from then on.

“Even if I walk through a valley as dark as the grave,
I will not be afraid of any danger, because you are with me.” -Psalm 23:4

Our Lord will walk with us, if we submit ourselves to Him, He will carry us on His shoulders in our difficult state or in our happy condition. Our Lord loves us always, no matter how rotten or how high or how low or how great our state is, He loves us the way we are. He wants us to submit ourselves to Him the way we are.

If our mind is not ready to submit at this moment when we are getting out of control, we get trapped, we again fall back from Christ's loving protection. We return to world. This hurts our Lord a lot. After such an incident, if we try to look to our Lords face, we cannot, because, we can sense our Lord crying in pain of our fall. We can sense that His are wounds are bleeding. His face will tells us “oh my son and daughter, even knowing the depth of my love, even though I protected You and cared you lot, even I said to you not to fall for it that moment, why did you leave Me, why did you hurt Me by taking no care to My wounds? Please don't leave Me and go”

Let us not hurt our Lord again, lets sense His deep love and care for us. In moments we slip off from our Gods control, in moments we feel we are loosing our minds, just pray to God and ask His help. He will snatch you from this worlds hands and envelope with His love and protect us. Rather than hurting Our Father by not seeking Him, by turning ourselves to our selfish emotions and coming under our and world control, let us come under Our Lords love and stay pure in love. So that we remain always as His witness for His love and Glory to others without loosing ourselves.

When we are walking with God, we are the living witnesses for His love. In all situations, let us be the living witness for the unending love, grace and glory.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  -2Corinthians 12:9

Let us walk in this Grace. It is the only thing that we need.

Oh my Lord, in my daily life, help me to tide over even the slightest temptation and each of my joyous moment along with You. Give me the wisdom at the right moment when I start to loose my control from Your hands so that I can submit myself to You and get the strength to fight against the powers that may overpower me and take me away from Your love. I will walk with You oh my Father. Amen

Be True In The Little Things We Do

When we decide to live for God, we always think of many things. Helping others, donations ,charity, going for prayers, prayer meetings, preaching, singing etc etc.. But whatever we do, there will be an incompleteness felt inside often. We always find ourselves failing to be constant and stable in our approach, love and sincerity to the one who called us to be His always.

While we think deep into this, we find that, we often forgets the real reason behind all our good deeds, the real fact and the real love that comes from God.

'This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his only Son into the world to give us life through him. True love is God’s love for us, not our love for God. He sent his son as the way to take away our sins."  - 1John 4:9-10

Since God loves us so much, we are able to feel His love, and we love Him. When God wishes that we love Him lot and we live for Him, He never asks us to do big things but to be faithful to Him in the tiniest thing that we do. This tiniest thing should begin right from our within. From our inside heart we must be faithful. We must be true in this love towards God.

This true love flows this way, from Gods heart it overflows, we should open our heart for His love to flow into us straight to our inside spirit. This love should grow in us as strong faith builds up in us towards our dear Father, this will bear sincere fruits in us that it makes ourselves pure to ourselves. Once it fills us and cleanse us and builds in us, this love begins to overflow from us to our house, our partners, children and all others..Our family is getting filled with this love and deep faith. Then when we reach the society, our friends and peers will see God being glorified in us. Thus our God lives in each of us and His kingdom will be establish in this pinnacle of love.

Thus the foundation should be laid upon right from our inside. God wants us to be sincere to ourselves in loving Him. He asks us to be faithful right to the root of our heart and in all that we do.

“Whoever can be trusted with small things can also be trusted with big things. Whoever is dishonest in little things will be dishonest in big things too.”Luke 16:10

In this lenten time, let us build ourselves, let us fill ourselves in God and His love. Let us be faithful in the small things we do and then wait patiently for God to build us all to establish His Kingdom.

Do not think about doing great things, but try to be sincere and faithful right from our basic little things. Do not worry  that we are not able to make changes in this world or our society or even our family, but try to be the change that God wishes in ourselves. The rest will come in Gods plan.

Dear Father in Heaven, build us right from our inside, help us to fill ourselves with Your overflowing love, help us to open our hearts to You and be faithful right from our roots and in the little things we do. So we are pure in our love for You and towards our fellow beings for You are to be glorified in all of us. Amen.

“God doesn’t look at what people see. People judge by what is on the outside, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

Reflect Our Past with God

The realization of Gods love while reflecting on our past life is the perfect way to get strong faith in our dear Lord. But this has to be done walking with God. Whenever we try to think of our past life, we may sometimes feel bad, we may be purposely forgetting our past due to a bitter experience that we had, or the past experiences may brood in us making us guilty and doomed to life. The past can bring frustrations or a sense of loss. If these are the feelings that we get while reflecting our past, then beware, realize the truth that we are not guided by Gods love.

This is can be said for a fact that, Our dear God never ever wants His children to be fed up of life. He never points us to loose life at any cost. He never brings guilt to His child’s mind.

‘The Lord God says: By my life, I swear that I don’t enjoy seeing people die—not even evil people! I don’t want them to die. I want them to come back to me. I want them to change their lives so that they can really live. So come back to me! Stop doing bad things! -Ezekiel 33:11

Hence if our past brings anger or sadness or guilt or depression to us, always realize that we are then guided by satan, who always wishes our destruction. He gives a feeling of pretend repentance but it will pierce our heart and make us feel, we are not good at all, we are not righteous at all, this may inturn give a hatred to life. Never let this happen. This is how satan mocked Judas, who betrayed Jesus.

Judas betrayed Jesus and returned with the reward. Suddenly the feeling of guilt came to his mind for cheating his own dear master. His reflection of the past wrong deed was taken over by Satan who made him hate himself and commit suicide. But St Peter who did the same wrong by rejecting Jesus three times, repented on his past reflection by walking along with Lord. He prayed and repented in front of Lord, who then raised him with the eternal love and made him the strong rock.

Hence there are two consequences of reflecting our past for Gods love. If this reflection takes us away from God then it is not right. Come back under the wings of Lord. Always go to our past along with Lord. Let not our selfish pride guide us, let not our guilt envelop our past all these will take us away from Lord. Reflect our past thinking,'how God guided us and shielded us from all our trials and temptations through His Love'

Sometimes our past may bring pride to us for gaining many things. In this case, it is not Gods love but it is our selfish love towards ourself, that is guiding us. This will perish and bring us to a stand still in progressing in life. Let our selfish love be melted in Gods mercy.

God is love. Everyone who lives in love lives in God, and God lives in them. If God’s love is made perfect in us, we can be without fear on the day when God judges the world. We will be without fear, because in this world we are like Jesus. Where God’s love is, there is no fear, because God’s perfect love takes away fear. It is his punishment that makes a person fear. So his love is not made perfect in the one who has fear. We love because God first loved us.- I John 4:16-19

God never lets us down, God never lets us to boast in pride. He wants us to be humble as He is. He wants us to love Him unconditionally and strives His maximum to keep us under His everlasting love and mercy forever.

Lord Oh my Father, hold our hands while walking through our life, let us be able to realize the depth of Your unshakable love and mercy, let not our thoughts be directed to guilt of destruction or pride which can destroy us, let it be enveloped in Your Love so we get the strong Faith to be with You forever. Amen.

How to get a Strong faith in God?

“Faith is what makes real the things we hope for. It is proof of what we cannot see.”
                                                                                                                 -Hebrews 11:1

We are all Christians and we believe that Jesus Christ came, died for our sins and resurrected to give us a new life and He will come again to judge the living and the dead and to take us to our Father in Heaven. What difference does this make in our life? How are we standing unique as the Children of God- Christians? If we think this deeply touching our heart, we can realize that this is something we just believe. Without any emotions or devotion we can say this, “I believe”. But we remain the same always, ordinary human beings of this world.

Believing is not same as FAITH. Belief is just an acceptance but faith involves a change in us with belief.(Faith is Belief+Action).If we are believing in something it may or may not affect us. But strong faith renews us through belief.

When we think of our parents or anyone close to our heart, we know that we love them a lot. We have faith in them because we know how they cared us, loved us, sacrificed for us and dedicated their life for us for our good upbringing. The good position that we are in now is as a result of our parents dedication and prayers for us. Or if it is our partner or friend that we trust the most, we know that it is their dedication and care for us that made us love them and trust them. As we know this, we also know that they will do everything for us, even when we are down or when we are facing a trouble. Hence we also do the same in return. This is faith. Actions arising due to belief that overflows in love and it has no boundaries, it increases with sharing. It gives hope to others to live.

Thus Faith comes from an experience of Love. Let us reflect our life for the experiences when a sincere love protected us and held us strongly. When we were alone, when we were depressed, in times of confusions and pains, when we were sinning, there was a hand that grabbed us and saved us. Are we able to realize this love? This eternal love that come from our Father in Heaven in the form of our parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, friends, children or partners or may be a stranger or sometimes as a divine filling surely must have touched us or is touching us at some or every point of life. It is because of this love that we live now.

If we are able to reflect ourselves, this love, we surely will have a drop of tears in our eyes. How great is our Gods Love. The pinnacle of His love is seen when He sacrificed His only son for us,

“Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life.” John 3:16

When we realize this love, Thank God for this Love and the grace that He showered on us during those times. Thank God for the sincere protection and love that He showered on us during those times. Try to realize how purely and deeply God is loving us. This love led us till this day. Let this love of God fill us. Only by the realization of this true love and the acceptance of Gods care and mercy can create a strong faith in us to our Father Almighty.

This faith will be sincere, devoted and deep that we can never ever turn back from God to this world. This faith will renew us, it will strengthen us to act for God and stand firm for Him as His children. When this faith increase in us with love, it overflows from us to the hearts of others giving them the guarantee of life in God . Our life in faith should give hope for others to live for God in all times.

Let us dig our heart, dig our life and find this treasure of Gods Love that enveloped us once and saved us once and is still saving us.

Meditation on the personal experience of Gods love in our life will help us to thank Him with tears of sincerity and love towards Him. It is this sincere love for God that builds strong belief in us. The belief built up in love turns out to a faith that never shakes or fails.

Only when we have this strong faith, we can stand for God in all temptations and trials of this world. Our strong belief and life in God should be a surety for others to live in God.

Loving Father in Heaven, help us realize the depth of Your love for us and the pain that You experience when we forget You. Let us love You God with all our heart, mind , soul and life, let us have strong faith in You so that we stand for You always and our Faith help others to stand in You too. Amen.

Then Jesus said, “I am the bread that gives life. No one who comes to me will ever be hungry. No one who believes in me will ever be thirsty.” John 6:35

So I am not the one living now—it is Christ living in me. I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of God. He is the one who loved me and gave himself to save me. Galatians 2:20

Be Stable With God

Are we stable in our Lord? When we reflect the days of our life, some days we find ourselves so strong in God, with full belief and enthusiasm to pray, peace at mind and generous to do good deeds. Different from these days, some times we find ourselves barren, we never feel to pray, never can we think peacefully, confusions, anger, depressions, dissatisfaction, selfishness, incompleteness and lot more will envelope our minds creating a miserable fog that cuts off this divine light from us.

Why this happen? Why are we unstable in God?

This instability accounts for the depth in our belief to our Lord. We are not able to humble ourselves in front of Him, we are not able to submit ourselves to Him perfectly, we never believe in Him sincerely. Whenever we do something, our mentality is to brand it in our name and get the credit. Among our friends we try to establish our mark at some point. In our work places, we wish to get the honour for the best performance never thinking about our fellows feelings. Everywhere in the field of life, we wish our name to be honoured. This is the selfish man.

Hence if the situations turn negative, we can never afford it, we blame our condition, we may blame the process, or curse the authorities or our state of living and sometimes even our loving God. We do this to justify ourselves, to prove ourselves that we are clean and it is not our fault. We never want to break OUR IMAGE. This is the reason that we are unstable in our Lord. We always want OUR IMAGE to shine and not His.

But think of 'Jesus' the son of God who came down to Earth for saving us sinners, how did he live? We know the whole story. Yet we are ignorant. Jesus did everything in the name of the Father Almighty. In the garden of Gethsemane, when He was breaking in tears with the pain in soul..Jesus prayed to Father '“My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” Even in pain, Jesus wanted His Fathers wish to be done. Jesus spoke in Fathers words, accomplished the Father’s work, and did everything in oneness with the Father.

In John 5:43 Jesus says that “I have come from my Father and speak for him, but you don’t accept me. But when other people come speaking only for themselves, you accept them.”

Jesus is the perfect model that we should reflect.

Jesus said, “My food is to do what the one who sent me wants me to do. My food is to finish the work that he gave me to do. - John 4:34

In this Lenten days let us learn to be stable in God. Whenever we are in something, let us first deny ourselves and our humanly thoughts. Let us not try to do something for our own purpose. Let us not be selfish and never try to honour our name. But the name of Lord who is working us to make us perfect and pure like Him. Remember “GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS IMAGE AND BLEW HIS BREATH IN US” so not only in image but in spirit we should be living with God giving thanks to Him in each breath.

When ever we find ourselves unstable and barren, try to reflect on our activities, we will be able to figure out something that we have done for our selfishness. Submit it to Lord, and pray to Him to fill it with His glory. As Christ lived as one with Father Almighty, We must be one in the Trinity.

“Accept my teaching. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will be able to get some rest.” - Mathew 11:29

Let us also be gentle and humble in spirit and accept our Lords voice everytime, so that the selfish human is always at rest in us.

Lord our dear Father help us to be complete in You and not in us. Teach us to reject the selfish human in us and to do things for Your glory. So that we can be moulded into perfection as You wish and are never unstable in You. Amen.

17. March 19, 2014 -17th Day of Lent

Being a little Child and walking to Jesus with our eternal Mother.

Little children are the living examples that God has set for us. Every now and then when we see them, there will be a reflection of ourselves. Even Jesus has said to us,

“The truth is, you must change your thinking and become like little children. If you don’t do this, you will never enter God’s kingdom. The greatest person in God’s kingdom is the one who makes himself humble like this child.

-Mathew 18:3-4

Being humble like a little child, being innocent in loving like a little child is the pinnacle of perfection. When a little child buds in our mind, a mother, who walk with us each and every second, taking care of us and guiding us in the proper way and who intercede for us will hold our hand and cuddle us in her lap. The loving Mother which our Almighty Father and Jesus gave us- Mother Mary.

When we reflect back, we can bring back memories when our mother held our hands and took us to church. A mother who showed us Jesus, a sincere love who scolded us sometimes when we went wrong. She is an untiring pleader for us to God. With her tears, she gave us the deposit for a bright future. With her sacrifice she built us to the 'We' we are now. Whose prayers which always protected us and is still shielding us.

When we watch during the mass, we can find this mother even now. She holds the hands of her child and make them stand properly in church, when they fall down, she stretches her hand to embrace them. When a child is making noise, the mother quiets them, she pacify them not to cry, she helps them to understand and feel the mass and the Christ in it. Slowly the child learn how to be in Mass, how to fold their hands in prayer, how to pray, how to proceed without a fail and helping in their each step to grow both physically and spiritually towards God. It is through Our Mother that we saw this World first and felt our Lord first.

The same relation we must have with Mother Mary. This is how Jesus gave us Mother Mary. We are little immature children in this world. It is our deep dependency to Mother Mary and through her intercessions that we can win over this world and reach to our Father in the right way as shown by Jesus. 

Any mother who loves her child can sense the pain that Mother Mary suffered when Her only son was rejected by the world, beaten and thrashed with blood, and finally nailed on to the Cross in front of Her. Mary stood in calmness, treasuring Her feelings inside and pondered them in her heart. So serene a Mother ,so calm. In Her calmness and deep prayers of love and devotion to Jesus and Father, She was taken into heaven with angels. Her intercessions are always heard by the heavens. Let us make this Mother our own. Let us, through Her reach God perfectly through Her love.

Let us remember our mother and the eternal one Mother Mary and devote ourselves innocently pleading for Her intercessions and help to win the race of this world, to walk unshakable in Gods love.

Prayer,

Lord help us to humble ourselves as little children and believe in You innocently, cry to You for our faults. Thank You for giving us our mother and Mother Mary. Let us seek guidance from Her and be in Her hands to walk to You through this world and reach You in perfection.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

16. March 18, 2014 -16th Day of Lent

He must become greater; I must become less."

                                                                                       -John 3:30

When we begin a day, we get up from bed filled with works to do that day. This and that to be completed or updated. Somethings to follow up with, or to mend or finish off with a deal. No matter which age are we in, adult or children or youth or older generation we have our own things to complete in a day.



Not only is the case of things to be completed, we worry about things that we have done in the past or the previous day or things to be done in future. A whole load of things just in one day.



Many cases can hold up us in tension. It can be something that we said to someone,whether they felt bad or depressed; something we have done to someone ,family matters and our list goes on and on. These things make our mind too busy and noisy. We cant even sit for a second in calmness.



Have we ever thought about the load we are taking a day. We may be no one in the society ,sometimes we may not even be employed,even then we are filled up in mind.Why such tensions,why these many loads?



The state of these tensions in our mind is because it is "WE who do the things,WE who decide the things,WE who plan the things'. The fact is that



“A person can receive only what God gives "- John 3:27



Because we never created us,we cannot even add a single hour in our life a day. In this case if we decide upon a days things or if we load up our minds with things to do and expect a perfect way of achieving it..it may not turn out fruitful.



Because it is not that we who decides. If we were our creators and if we had a full power to modify each and every aspect in us and in our life, then we would have had the power to decide and do with our authority. The 'I' in us can do nothing alone. Our "I" should be made lesser,let us fill ourselves with God.



The perfect truth is that we are helpless. We cannot decide and do by our own selfish plans. It may all go wrong or may turn out bad for us. Instead of 'we' being our deciders let our Creator take care of it. Because He is the one who knows what is right for us, better than us. Our creator, amidst all these chaos of our life says to us

God says, "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." -Psalms 46:10

What we must do in a situation of tension and trouble, busy or rush times is that to humble ourselves first. Make a mind that accepts the fact we cant do anything by our own, we can get only what God gives us and He is the one who knows what is right. Make our faith in God strong.Our God Gives.

The one who worries has a small faith, hence he try his maximum but his efforts go waste making him down, because humans are weak but with God in them , they are strong.

"Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ That’s what those people who don’t know God are always thinking about. Don’t worry, because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things.What you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing what he wants you to do. Then he will give you all these other things you need.So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries. "- Mathew 6:31-34

Hence when we are in such situations,never try to put a selfish trade mark of our own on that, instead..strongly believe that Our loving Lord is with us and for us.With perfect submission,do our part and then leave it to Almighty for the fruit He gives,that is right to us.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. “Philippians 4:6-7

In prayer, make Him our requests and seek His help,do our part, then keep calm and wait patiently. Empty the selfish 'I can' from our heart and mind. Fill us with God. Let Him grow in us and let us be reduced for Him.Our God is a wonderful God who always care us ,love us and guide us to good.

Lord loving Father,help us to stay calm,to humble ourselves before You and cleanse the 'I" in us.It is You who must live in us. Let us seek You in the first place of our life and rest leave to You.Because You know us better that we know us.Amen

Shine With God

Can we imagine a world without light? The world we see now will not be the same when there is no light. The beautiful greenery, the snowy mountains, the blue sky, the colorful birds and butterflies, the days we enjoy outside, the dress we put..all will be nothing but perfect darkness. For a beautiful world that we see now, there must be the sun shining with its elegant light,giving life and power to this world.

Our condition is the same. For us to be beautiful, our Lord, the brightest sun should shine on us and through us. If we are without Him, we will be in perfect darkness. Our beauty shines through The Almighty.

We may be in darkness. The darkness due to our unrighteous character, impure works, our sins or our indifference to our Lord. If we are in this darkness of this worldly powers,if we are finding it hard to release ourselves from the mighty bonds,if we feel ourselves guilty and depressed due our situations in life, if we are unsatisfied with what we are experiencing from this world, please don't worry,never leave ourselves to get rotten in our human  minds because all this give us a hint that the light in us is not shining. We have no power of our own.

 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.- 2 Corinthians 4:6

So let us submit ourselves and come under the light of the Lord Almighty. When He shine in you, the dark inner cores of our hearts will no longer show up. The light has the power to outshine all these darkness in us. When our Lord come inside us and shine through us we are no longer weak but will shine unending giving light even to others. His light will give the light of knowledge,the wisdom of God will shine in us as whole. We are never weak in this world with God.

"Lord, you are my Light and my Savior,

    so why should I be afraid of anyone?-Psalms 27:1 

This light will come into us when we turn our face towards Him sincerely with the true thirst of it and then we shall never fear anything of this world.

“Jerusalem, get up and shine![a]

    Your Light is coming!
    The Glory of the Lord will shine on you.
2 Darkness now covers the earth,
    and the people are in darkness.
But the Lord will shine on you,
    and his Glory will appear over you.
3 Then the nations will come to your light.
    Kings will come to your bright sunrise.-Isaiah 60:1-3

When the glory of God shine on us we are no longer weak. Let us give ourselves for Him so that He can transfigure us as His children like Jesus who transfigured in Mount tabor with the power of Father Almighty. In the same way let our submission lead God to say“This is my Son, the one I love. I am very pleased with him"-Mathew 17:5

"You are all people who belong to the light. You belong to the day. We don’t belong to the night or to darkness." Thessalonians 5:5

Those who love darkness love only their works which can never unravel to the light and which shall perish.Let us be for the light and do everything in this light.Let us come out from the shells of darkness without fear.For the light of the lord erases all our darkness of heart.

Those people lived in darkness, but they will see a great light. They lived in a place as dark as death, but a great light will shine on them.-Isaiah 9:2

The people who live in spiritual darkness
    have seen a great light.
The light has shined for those
    who live in the land that is as dark as a grave.”-Mathew 4:16

Let us come to His light first by realizing our darknesses', by repenting and submitting ourselves sincerely through confession, by taking into ourselves The Body and Blood of Christ who suffered for us, by being His Children forever strongly believing in His power and not worrying about our weakness.

Lord help us see the light of Yours, save us from our darkness, help us to come near You so that in Your warmth we live and we shine always .We are weak as humans but as Gods children we are strong.Your wisdom will make us shine. Amen

14. March 16, 2014 -14th Day of Lent

The Word

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."-John 1:1
"the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."-John 1:14

This word is our living power always. The word became flesh and lived among us. He loved us and guided us, He cured us and forgave us, He sacrificed Himself and saved us. Jesus is this Living word. He once lived among us in person and showed us the way to our eternal house.He showed us how to live and conquer this world without being enslaved by the world and how to get purified from sins.

The majority dint give ear to Him and they crucified Him.But the power of the word resurrected defeating the mighty worldly powers.The world disintegrates in this Word. The world has no existence. But the word's power multiplies each moment and extends to the deep inside of a human. The word that got resurrected now live in us. It is always with us now. Since the word in flesh (Jesus) was not able to present everywhere at the same time, He won over the perishable body and resurrected as spirit to enter into each of our hearts and to be present with His children all the time.

In each second that we are living, this word speaks in us.The Word-The Holy spirit is our eternal companion.

"when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you into all truth. He will not speak his own words. He will speak only what he hears and will tell you what will happen in the future.  The Spirit of truth will bring glory to me by telling you what he receives from me.  All that the Father has is mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will tell you what he receives from me." John 16:13-15

The Holy Spirit is the living power in us, The Living Word Jesus-The voice of our Eternal Father.

When we feel the sincere love to our Savior ,A thirst for His voice develops in us. The thirst for His words. The power of the Word is marvelous. It can unravel the mysteries of our life, it can make our paths straight, it will fill in our weaknesses to make us strong,it can melt the hard hearts, it will show us the true God,it gives us our daily bread and long long it goes...the power of the word.

The apostolic letter Ephesians 6 shows how to live in this world,

"taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" Ephesians 6:16-17

These are our weapons to fight our sins and temptations. Word of God is the sword of the spirit.

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

When we reflect our inner spirit,we find ourselves hard hearted, hardened with the scales of this world. We stand indifferent to the tender emotions,to the love of God, to His plans for us , to His sacrifices for us and to His patience and mercy. These can be seen around us each day, sometimes in our friends, our fellow being, our children, our family or anywhere.But our hard heart never permits us to hear what word of God says to us. 

So in this lenten time,Let us learn to love and live in the Word-the living God.Let us sit for sometime and read the living light with us-The Bible. It is sure to melt our heart. in Jeremiah 23:29,God says that His word is like a fire, a hammer that breaketh the rock into pieces.Let this Hammer of God break and melt our hard heart to transform into a heart of flesh that has the Blood of Jesus and the breath of Father Almighty.

Lord help us to understand Your love through Your words of power. Help us to know the power that it can give us to rejuvenate the spirit in us.Lead us to thirst for Your word and love You sincerely by knowing You through Your voice of the Word.Amen

Let us be the living word for Him.

13. March 15, -13th Day of Lent

The Wonderful Mercy

" For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

             -John 3:16

There is no other way to understand our Gods mercy to all of His children. Mercy was with all His children, mercy came down to earth ,it was tortured and nailed, died to show the extend of love to us and resurrected; to be in us always at all time. Mercy encompass us no matter however we go astray from this loving Kindness.

We sometimes behave cruelly to Gods love for gaining our wishes.We may sometime compromise His plans with our plans even though we are aware of its consequences. Even by knowing the great love of our lord, we forget Him,we never thank Him. But God never forgets us,He never stops loving us, He is always merciful,always reaching His hands to us. 

Why God is always merciful us? Is he not fed up on us? 

"God has been kind to you. He has been very patient, waiting for you to change. But you think nothing of his kindness. Maybe you don’t understand that God is kind to you so that you will decide to change your lives."

-Romans 2:4

God is kind to us so that we will decide to repent and change our lives.No matter how we are,how mean we are, how untrue we are in our love to Him, God waits for us patiently. His mercy towards us is without measure.

"But God is rich in mercy, and he loved us very much. 5 We were spiritually dead because of all we had done against him. But he gave us new life together with Christ. (You have been saved by God’s grace.)"

-Ephesians 2:4-5

Let us receive this new life together. Let us do a simple thing for Him,"Trust in Him and Jesus".

"Your goodness and mercy will be with me all my life,

    and I will live in the Lord’s house a long, long time."Psalms 23:6

Let us reflect on our lives. Let us realize how wonderfully Gods mercy has protected us. Let us repent on our unrighteousness. Let us return to the eternal satisfaction, to our Lord- the Inexhaustible source of mercy.

"This is the Lord’s message:

    “Now come back to me with all your heart.
Cry and mourn, and don’t eat anything!
    Show that you are sad for doing wrong.
13 Tear your hearts,
    not your clothes.[a]”
Come back to the Lord your God.
    He is kind and merciful.
He does not become angry quickly.
    He has great love."-Joel 2:12-13

Oh lord ,Untiring giver of mercy,help us to realize our iniquities, help us to realize your marvelous touch of mercy in our life. Guide us back to You,so that we can always stand for You in this world and help others to get to You.Amen
