Praising God

We often hear people praising God always. Sometimes when we are exposed to such a situation, we find ourselves to have a block to speak out in Lords Praises. As the chants of praises rise around us, we feel a bit awkward. We may think in our mind 'why these people are repeating the same thing and praising Lord loudly?'

Here the problem is not theirs but it is ours. In a normal situation, we praise someone when we accept that they have done something wonderful and superior that we have not done or for something that has been done in perfection. The acceptance that we make may or may not be sincere, hence there is a dirt in our praises. This arise due to our complexes and selfishness. the same is in the case of Praising God.

By praising and singing for God we are accepting Christ and Father as the source of all our blessings and the owner of our life. When we start praising Almighty, we will realize how ineligible we are to receive all that we have gained now and thus humbling ourselves to God. Nothing in this world is gained by our goodness, but by Gods endless mercy towards us.

"But you are a chosen race a royal priesthood,
a holy nation a people for His possession,
so that you may proclaim the praises
of the One who called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light.
10 Once you were not a people,
but now you are God’s people;
you had not received mercy,
but now you have received mercy."- 1 Peter 2:9-10

If we are finding this hard, just walk back to our life with God. We can find that whatever we got in our life is a blessing, in our hardships we were carried in safety in comfort and protection,in our loneliness we was pacified,in our stressful situation we were delivered, when we were slipping into sin we were warned and rescued...the one time loses were made heavenly gains...and now we are in this present state, alive and well fed just because of this wonderful Father that we have in Heaven...When we think about Him and the great love He shown to us by giving Jesus..it is sure that our tongues will rise to praise Him endlessly.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Father who is full of mercy, the God of all comfort.  He comforts us every time we have trouble so that when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.-2 Corinthians 1:3-4

When we start praising Him,we give Him our control..we realize our weakness and we will be able to humble ourselves anywhere.

The praises is also protective. Through this we reject satan and his powers and slavery knowingly in our minds and this makes us ourselves escape from the deadly slavery to eternal freedom of God. By praising God, we are removing satans power over us and giving credit and our ownership to God. Through praises we say Glory to God..Thank you God for giving me everything..Hallelujah...Praises and power is for You Almighty. This praises make satan fear in the name of our Lord.

This truth is revealed to us in the name of the Father through Jesus Christ. And this revelation transforms us to a person who praises Lord in the freedom of His love.Praises frees us from the earthly bonds.

"About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing songs to God. The other prisoners were listening to them.  Suddenly there was an earthquake so strong that it shook the foundation of the jail. All the doors of the jail opened, and the chains on all the prisoners fell off." Acts 16:25-26

Lord loving Father and Jesus through Him you saved us and opened Your way to Us, Thank You Lord for revealing the truth of praises to us. Let us be able to enjoy the freedom of Your ways and Truth. Let us be able to praise You without any hindrance and protect ourselves from the slavery of satan. In Your name we pray through Jesus Christ. Amen

If anyone speaks, he should do it
as one speaking the very words of
God. If anyone serves, he should
do it with the strength God
provides, so that in all things God
may be praised through Jesus
Christ. To him be the glory and the
power for ever and ever. Amen.-1 Peter 4:11
