"How many loaves have you? Go and see." ...

Praise Lord and Glory to Him Always..

Mark 6:34-44 says,

As he went ashore, he saw a great crowd; and he had compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things. 35 When it grew late, his disciples came to him and said, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is now very late; 36 send them away so that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy something for themselves to eat.” 37 But he answered them, “You give them something to eat.” They said to him, “Are we to go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread, and give it to them to eat?” 38 And he said to them, “How many loaves have you? Go and see.” When they had found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.” 39 Then he ordered them to get all the people to sit down in groups on the green grass. 40 So they sat down in groups of hundreds and of fifties. 41 Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and he divided the two fish among them all. 42 And all ate and were filled; 43 and they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish. 44 Those who had eaten the loaves numbered five thousand men.

While reading through this scripture passage the Holy Spirit revealed a message from the Lord Almighty: The essence of Evangelisation is in us, fetch it from with in us, submit to lord and he shall multiply it for us and give us to distribute to the multitudes that are thirsty for a shepherd's protection and were like sheep without a shepherd

Evangelisation is a consequence and not a program. It must start within us. This is what Our Lord shows us through this story. When the disciples find that the crowd is tired and hungry, they search for an easy way to feed them. They ask Jesus to send them to nearby towns to find food by themselves, when Jesus said “You give them something to eat" and then the disciples said that they will themselves go to another towns and buy food and come. But Jesus replies in an amazing way“How many loaves have you? Go and see." He asks to find out what do they have within themselves. This is when the disciples put effort to search and find out what is there within among themselves. The disciples submitted what they got,(even though it was very little compared to the crowd to provide them), to Jesus. Jesus asked the disciples to " get all the people to sit down in groups on the green grass".

After the crowd was put in order, Jesus took the few what the disciples had submitted and " he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and he divided the two fish among them all. And all ate and were filled". This is Evangelisation.

No matter how little we have within ourselves, without pondering over the little we have,or how weak it is or how less it is, do not worry about that little, instead set Hope on the God who can multiply. He gives us multiplied to distribute to all His children who are hungry and thirsty for Lords love. We often give up in our efforts or find easy ways to fill the hunger of ourselves or of our friends who are in a lost state or in some kind of emptiness or is approaching us for help. But through this story Lord asks to search and put effort to find out what is available in you. As you find them out, submit it to the Lord who is able to make abundance from the little you submit unto Him. And then He shall give them into your hands to distribute to thousands...

There is a duty for each one of us who are called in Jesus name to be the Children of God the Father. He has given us many gifts and talents. This could be unveiled only if we put effort and obey through Lord direction and help. Once it is revealed submit it to Lord who will multiply and give to you. This is multiplied and given to you as blessings to feed the sheep, His children who is in need and who is in front of you and whom you meet day by day.

" Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.(1 Peter 4:10). " This service springs out from our hearts only if we hear Lords voice saying "“Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my lambs.” 16 A second time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Tend my sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter felt hurt because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” And he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.(John 21:15-17)"

Instead of Simon's name let us put our name and read this verses.

Because Lord has said "Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God; for God is love.(1John 4:7-8)"

Prayer

Thank you lord for this beautiful message that you revealed to us. Help us to hear your voice and put effort to find out the gifts that you have given us, the bread that you have fed us with..lead us to make a perfect submission, no matter how weak we are or how little we have, unto your altar. Bless it lord, purify it and multiply it. Give us wisdom to understand the purpose of blessing us and to share you love and blessings with those whom you show us ,all in glory of Your name"
Amen.

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.(Colossians 3:17)
