Amazing Love

Simon, Simon, listen! Satan has demanded to sift all of you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your own faith may not fail.” — Luke 22:31–32

How deeply Jesus knows us! He knows us more than we know ourselves. He knows our strengths, our weaknesses, our fears, our hidden struggles and even the failures that we cannot yet imagine. Peter was confident that he would never abandon Jesus, but Jesus already knew that Peter would deny Him three times.
Jesus did not say, "If you fall, you are finished." Instead, He said, "When once you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." What a merciful Lord! He already had a purpose for Peter even beyond his failure. His fall would not be the end of his story; his restoration would become a testimony that strengthened others.
Today, let us remember: We may not know what tomorrow holds, what trials await us or where our weaknesses will lead us. But Jesus already knows. Before we face tomorrow's struggles, He is already there. Before we even find the words to pray, He is interceding for us.
How comforting it is to know that our lives are never outside His loving care
Prayer
Lord Jesus, You know me more than I know myself. You know my weaknesses even before I recognise them. You see the storms approaching even before I encounter them. Thank You for loving me, watching over me and interceding for me even when I am unaware. When my faith is tested, do not let it fail. When I fall, help me return to You. Transform my weaknesses into testimonies of Your grace, so that I may strengthen others through the love and mercy I have received from You.
Lord, how great is Your love! How tender is Your care! I place my tomorrow in Your hands. Amen.
