The Lent Builds Us

Through 50 days God renewed us again with hope and new life and we are more closer to Him than ever before.

You have been born again. This new life did not come from something that dies. It came from something that cannot die. You were born again through God’s life-giving message that lasts forever- 1 Peter 1:23

We has got something that can never be lost or perished. Hence we must remain in the same holiness that God placed us now without any fail. The transformation that has happened to us should remain forever, getting build in God each day.

Give thanks to the Father. He has made you able to have what he has promised to give all his holy people, who live in the light. God made us free from the power of darkness. And he brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son. The Son paid the price to make us free. In him we have forgiveness of our sins.-Colossians 1:12-13

At one time you were separated from God. You were his enemies in your minds, because the evil you did was against him.  But now he has made you his friends again. He did this by the death Christ suffered while he was in his body. He did it so that he could present you to himself as people who are holy, blameless, and without anything that would make you guilty before him. And that is what will happen if you continue to believe in the Good News you heard. You must remain strong and sure in your faith. You must not let anything cause you to give up the hope that became yours when you heard the Good News. Colossians 1:21-23

The Lenten Reflections of our Life:

1. God loves us the way we are

2. Always be happy in the grace of God

3. 'Be calm and know that I am God'

4. We have many weaknesses and flaws, we may sometimes feel indifferent to God and hard to pray, but always we are able to do one thing 'Believe in the power of God and depend on Him' (Mathew 6:25-34,Philippians 3:21)

5. Never fail to pray or sit to pray even if we dont feel to do so. Even when we cant pray ,'sitting' for God for sometime can be done, rest God will take care off.

6. Make our wishes joined to the plans of our God. Then we shall have everlasting happiness and satisfaction.(1John 5:14-15)

7. Be truthful to God in little things that we do.

8. Submit to God, no matter in whatever situation we may be in, He will guide us through

9. Remain in God always, He will prepare and protect us in everything.

10. We are reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.Realize, believe, love, submit ,commit, hope and wait for Almighty.

True love is God’s love for us, not our love for God. He sent his Son as the way to take away our sins.
That is how much God loved us, dear friends! So we also must love each other.  No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us. If we love each other, God’s love has reached its goal—it is made perfect in us.' - 1 John 4:10-12

Lord loving Father, we know that your love towards us is beyond our thinking, help us by keeping us in Your love. Let us be able to understand Your care and plans for us. Give us wisdom to know You when You come to us daily and understand what is Your wish through us. Always Guide us in You Words of Truth now and forever.Amen

Easter in Us

And Israel saw the great work which the LORD did against the Egyptians, and the people feared the LORD; and they believed in the LORD and in his servant Moses.”
- Exodus 14:31

The Lord guided and guarded the Israelites' all through their journey towards the promised land.

The Lord led the way. During the day, he used a tall cloud to lead the people. And during the night, he used a tall column of fire to lead the way. This fire gave them light so that they could also travel at night. The cloud was always with them during the day, and the column of fire was always with them at night.” -Exodus 13:21-22

God led them through a way that was longer than an alternate way that can reach the promised land very easily. He did this to;

God did not let the people take the road leading to the land of the Philistines. That road by the Mediterranean Sea is the shortest way, but God said, “If the people go that way they will have to fight. Then they might change their minds and go back to Egypt.”So God led them another way through the desert by the Red Sea.”- Exodus 13:17-18

Hence we can realize that if God is leading us into a way that was not desired by our mind and thoughts, it is sure that He has a definite plan for doing so, they are the plans for our good and not for our harm.

The entire journey of Israelites' from Egypt to the promised land is filled with humanities fall out from belief upon God the Father and His mercy shown to rescue them from all dangers. The children of God had to face many obstacles in their way due their own selfish intentions and desires, through the red sea, from the drought and famines, from the poisonous snakes, from the Pharaoh and his battalion, from all wars, by giving commandments to live truly, by giving the arc of covenant in the Holy Tent, the Lord saved them. Even though at each trials the children of God complained and criticized Lord for their hardships, even though they built another lords for their satisfaction, the Lord God guarded them by making them realize the glory of Him through His great protection from sufferings. The Father in Heaven, with His personal presence, protected all His righteous ones all through their journey to the promised land. He asked them to strongly believe in His power and love, but many failed and was lost, the ones who looked towards the face of the Lord was saved from the poison of the world and was restored in life.

When we look at our live today, we find the same approach. We tumble in our journey of life, we forget our Lords care and go behind our own mind sets. In the old testament days, Lord asked for a sacrifice for the flaws of His children. In the new testament, Lord offered the greatest sacrifice for our sins, by giving His only Son. Now He asks us only to believe in Him and cleanse ourselves with His blood shed for us. Now are the days of great mercy from God. We just have to repent on our sins and look into the face of Jesus who defeated the sins and the death a rose with new life for us. This life is under the mercy of God and we are not expected any more to be enslaved by sin and death.

In our baptism we shared in his death. So when we were baptized, we were buried with Christ and took part in his death. And just as Christ was raised from death by the wonderful power of the Father, so we can now live a new life.” - Romans 6:3-4

We know that our old life was put to death on the cross with Christ. This happened so that our sinful selves would have no power over us. Then we would not be slaves to sin. Anyone who has died is made free from sin’s control. If we died with Christ, we know that we will also live with him. Christ was raised from death. And we know that he cannot die again. Death has no power over him now. Yes, when Christ died, he died to defeat the power of sin one time—enough for all time. He now has a new life, and his new life is with God. In the same way, you should see yourselves as being dead to the power of sin and alive for God through Christ Jesus. Romans 6:5-11

Hence in this day of Resurrection of Our Lord, let us realize our position, let us no longer give away ourselves to the hands of the world. Let us live in the new life given to us by Our Father in Heaven through Christ Jesus. The new life in our Lord, that's under the mercy of our Lord and is no longer slave to sin and death but to mercy and eternal life. In our falls and failures that will arise in us due to our sin-weekened bodies, let us submit ourselves and look to the risen face of our Lord Jesus in such times and pray continuously. His body and blood shall cleanse us and renew us to be strong to fight against the powers that try to trap us and snatch us away from our Father.

Very early Sunday morning, the women came to the tomb where Jesus’ body was laid. They brought the sweet-smelling spices they had prepared. They saw that the heavy stone that covered the entrance had been rolled away. They went in, but they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. They did not understand this. While they were wondering about it, two men in shining clothes stood beside them. The women were very afraid. They bowed down with their faces to the ground. The men said to them, “Why are you looking for a living person here? This is a place for dead people. Jesus is not here. He has risen from death” Matthew 24:1-6

In this Easter, let us open the closed graves of our heart and receive the resurrected Jesus into us and live in His new life. Let us live a life that God has planned for us because God will guide us safely to our destination. This we cannot do alone because the powers of the world will make us struggle a lot, tumble down a lot and fail a lot, that we may be snatched away from Our Father. For this we need the protection and love from our Father through Jesus and Mother Mary and all pure souls who has succeeded in defeating the worldly satanic powers. With the intercession of all let us travel with new life of Jesus in us, fulfilling all the duties assigned to us in this world by our Lord with His help, and obeying His 'WORD' spoken to us through Bible reminded to us by Holy Spirit, to our everlasting home in Heaven with our Father. In our life let us always remember and believe strongly that,

Don’t be afraid! Don’t run away! Stand where you are and watch the Lord save you today..... You will not have to do anything but stay calm. The Lord will do the fighting for you.” Exodus 14:13

I have told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world you will have troubles. But be brave! I have defeated the world!” -John 16:33

Lord thank you for all your guidance's in our life. Help us through out our life in this world. Make us realize all the time, our position in this world so that we will always live in the new life given to us by You through resurrection of Jesus Christ, the way, truth and life forever. Amen

Reconciled to God Through Jesus -- For Us He Came and will Come Again

In Gethsemane there is the joining(dissolution) of human wishes with Gods wish and plans. Jesus Christ sweated blood, this shows the extent of stress that Jesus suffered in this joining. The human mentality to live according to their own selfish wishes of this world is being defeated with struggle to come in the way of Gods plans and wishes. It is this joining that led to the great way of salvation. The great plan of God to save the entire humanity from the clutches of the worldly sins is getting accomplished by the great submission of Christ Jesus as a living sacrifice.

Jesus who lived according to the plan of Father Almighty is the best model that is set by our Father for showing us His great plan for us. There are lots of souls for Him to save from the influence of Satan and his powers, for accomplishing this mission, the souls should co-operate with Father. The souls are sent to earth for a period of living and freeing themselves from the influence of the satan who is trapping us with the attractive worldly lusts. Father in heaven wishes each souls to live like Jesus and submit like Him so that we souls can also be joined to the great salvation mission for living eternally with Lord. Father in heaven has given us the freedom of choice, it is here that satan traps us. We may even never know that we are being snatched off by the worldly powers. Hence while living in this world we should be continually in the protection of our Lord through the guidance of the Holy Spirit that He has given us.

We souls who are sent to earth by our Father is destined a duty each and our plan of salvation has already been charted out by our Creator.

It is said in Psalms 139:13-17

For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God”

God know us before we were formed in our mothers womb. It is His plan of salvation of each of the souls that brought us to this world. We must live according to this plan, we must use our freedom of choice to choose according to the plans of our Creator. It is then the mission of our life will be successful. A wrong decision in a case that goes according to our selfish motives will block the plan of our Lord for us. Hence in each time we must submit our situation to the Lord and ask for his guidance, so that we never go wrong by blocking the marvelous ways of our Lord for us, giving a chance for the evil to snatch us off from Gods hands. The evil powers roaming in this world are waiting for a gap to snatch the Gods Children from Fathers hands and to lead them into total destruction, this filthy activity of the evil will go on until Jesus comes the second time to wipe off the evil forever. Until this time the evil can play the tricks, but we must be vigilant, we must be always under the Lords protection to live in this mighty world so that our soul remain safe for our Lord to join His eternal kingdom.

Our Father gave us Jesus to show us how to live, Hebrews 5:7-9 says,

While Jesus lived on earth he prayed to God, asking for help from the one who could save him from death. He prayed to God with loud cries and tears. And his prayers were answered because of his great respect for God. Jesus was the Son of God, but he still suffered, and through his sufferings he learned to obey whatever God says. This made him the perfect high priest, who provides the way for everyone who obeys him to be saved forever.”

We must also live like the same, the world will inflict sufferings but with full submission, respect and love for our Father we should continually pray and give our lives for His will to be done, His plans are not for our harm but for our good, for the everlasting happiness and eternal life with salvation in Gods House.

It was the law itself that caused me to end my life under the law. I died to the law so that I could live for God. I have been nailed to the cross with Christ. So I am not the one living now—it is Christ living in me. I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of God. He is the one who loved me and gave himself to save me.” -Galatians 2:19-20

Lord in this Good Friday, let us remember Jesus who showed us how to live in this world and who suffered for our sins and was crucified for our salvation. Even being pure, He took the cross of sins for our sake, we know the pain of a heart who is being persecuted even being faultless, by taking this pain into our heart, Lord let us be able to join our wishes to Your plans so that we can be with You in Our everlasting house. Protect us while we live in this world by guiding us through Holy Spirit. Amen.

"We have been made right with God because of our faith. So we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through our faith, Christ has brought us into that blessing of God’s grace that we now enjoy. And we are very happy because of the hope we have of sharing God’s glory.  And we are also happy with the troubles we have. Why are we happy with troubles? Because we know that these troubles make us more patient.  And this patience is proof that we are strong. And this proof gives us hope.  And this hope will never disappoint us. We know this because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts through the Holy Spirit he gave us."- Romans 5:1-5

Let us live with Christ in the way of cross.

"Do this in Memory of Me"

God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives doing the good things he had already planned for us to do.-Ephesians 2:10

Old Testament
and if the household is too small for a lamb, then a man and his neighbor next to his house shall take according to the number of persons; according to what each can eat you shall make your count for the lamb. Exodus 12:4

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old; you shall take it from the sheep or from the goats; Exodus 12:5

In this manner you shall eat it: your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover. Exodus 12:11

The blood shall be a sign for you, upon the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague shall fall upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:13
–-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Testament
On the night when the Lord Jesus was handed over to be killed, he took bread and gave thanks for it. Then he divided the bread and said, “This is my body; it is for you. Eat this to remember me.”In the same way, after they ate, Jesus took the cup of wine. He said, “This cup represents the new agreement from God, which begins with my blood sacrifice. When you drink this, do it to remember me.”This means that every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are telling others about the Lord’s death until he comes again. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

You call me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you. John 13:13-15

–----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we read through the two incidents that took place in the old testament and new testament respectively there are lot of messages that Our Father in Heaven tells us in this day of Passover. There is a pure sacrifice in both cases, a lamb without blemish and a son without sin. The blood shed in both cases were for the salvation of Gods children who are enslaved by the world. The blood of the lamb was shed to be a mark of protection when the angel of Lord Passover so that no plaque shall fall upon the children of Israel. The blood of Christ is shed to free the children of this entire world from the clutches of sin and to protect from the destruction of our souls.

The message that Lord give us in both cases is to be ready always and wait for the Lord to come. We have to live in this world in such a way that we should be servants for each other. In the old testament Lord asks the children of Israel to choose the lamb in such a way to what each can eat you shall make your count for the lamb and if the lamb is too big then to share with the neighbor. In new testament Christ asks us to do the same, to serve one another and to love one another as how He showed us. We should remember the sacrifice that He did for us each time we celebrate Mass and until He return the second time to take us along with Him.

In this world we must live seeking the protection of Our Lord from this world, through His Body and Blood that He shed for cleaning us from our sins. In the mass, when we receive the Body and Blood of Christ, we should be clean inside and outside. We must receive it with purity of our mind, otherwise like Judas, who had the mind of betraying Jesus for the worldly gain, Satan will enter us while we receive the communion. Receiving Our Lord into us is the most precious and pure moment in our life, daily when we do this in perfect reverence, Christ will grow in us and He will make us His. By receiving Christ we come closer to salvation day by day, we must live by serving and sharing with others the love that God is showering on us. We must be always ready for the second coming and eagerly wait for it continually building us with Christ. Let this Passover of our Lord Jesus renew in us the new life that God has promised. Let us receive Him in full purity , grow in Him each time we receive the communion and wait for Him with an eveready soul living daily in this protection sharing and serving our fellow beings.

PASSION WEEK

WORLD! ARE WE BEING FOOLED?

Then Jesus told his disciples,If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me”- Matthew 16:24

The crosses has a significant role in journey of a Christian life. Sufferings, temptations and trials are considered exclusive for those who follow Christ. When we think of this life, we often hesitate to follow the path of Christ. During the preaching of Good news or pacifying someone or guiding someone with the words of relief from Bible, we find ourselves trapped in the failure of its fulfillment. There is a bit of fear lit up in our mind, 'oh there is sufferings and trials'.

Our fear often makes us to walk away from our Father. It transforms us into an escapist who knowingly avoids the facts and duties of a true Christian child. We run away purposely from the hands of our Creator. Why do we do this? Because we love 'US' a lot, we love our family, we love our luxuries, we love the happiness of today and tomorrow, we love the lust of this world and we are not ready to give up all those things that make us happy for following Christ. We love us selfishly. We love the creations more than the one who created it.

When we are under this love of self and love of this world, we are being masked by the magical hands of the world. We can never realize the reality. The shine of the sun is being cut out from our eyes and we just see the sun high above our head. Can we imagine this situation?, Seeing a sun without its Shine. Sometimes we can see this, when there are clouds in the sky. But this sun is of no use. It is really fooling us. Rather than giving light, the sun masked through the clouds, bring more and more heat that can squeeze us out of our life. This condition is same with us, who loves the world. We are being fooled by the worldly happiness. The worldly happiness heats us to the maximum but in reality, it is squeezing our life out from us. To be more precise 'dry frying us in the heat of lust'. Once incinerated, we will be thrown out useless, lifeless and beyond recovery.

We can get this fact clearly when we think in Gods wisdom. For a moment let us give our thoughts to our Creator, let Him show us the real world. In this world, we are enjoying our life to the extent we can. We have our own style of living, our own family, our own likes and passions, our own trade marks, habits and hobbies etc.. etc.. There is a routine on which we are adjusted and we are living happily. But just think for a moment, do this routine remain forever? Are they everlasting and constant?

In our childhood days, we were cuddled and pampered by our parents, we loved to remain so forever, did it remain the same? We always wished to enjoy our life as a teenager, blasting and popping, is the life same even now? We wished to have the settled life with our partner and children, does this life remain the same forever? Or we wished to remain healthy and strong even if old, we wished to do our things by our own, will it be possible forever? The answer is NO. Nothing remains the same forever. The people whom we had in our past life may not be with us now, or they may not be even in this world now. We loose them. We loose everything that we believe to bring happiness forever.

The happiness in buying a new dress, a new car, a new house or gaining anything that our mind desires, may be a job or a possession, whatever it might be, is this happiness the ultimate, will that end our need and desires with perfect satisfaction? NEVER. Nothing can give us the ultimate satisfaction.

So, what we understand from all these array of worldly gains and love is that, there is always a 'chance of loosing' in the happiness that we gain from this world. The boom of happiness that the world gives us now make us believe that we have no sufferings, but here we are being tricked. When we are living, pondering on this world, we are facing difficulties every moment. Let us just think on it. The tensions, the stresses, the physical labor, the pressures in relations, the pressures of satisfaction etc..etc.. we live for satisfying us every moment. Yet we are not. YES we are suffering each moment, yet we pretend that we are enjoying. ARE WE REALLY BEING FOOLED? This is Worldly love.

Now let us see what Lord says to us.

Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest. Accept my teaching. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will be able to get some rest. Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Which is easier, the world or the Lord? The world offers happiness with sufferings that is unending, but without help. The Lord offers eternal happiness after a period of suffering, but there is a full proof help if we submit us to Him. Now let us reflect our views of love to world..Are we walking foolishly?

Our Lord, Our Father offers us an eternal strength to tide over this world and gain the everlasting happiness. The worldly happiness is momentary , the happiness that we are being carried away now will stop within few period of time, we will loose what we have now and is subject to a change, this may ruin us or change us from the one we are now, and finally will throw us out beyond repair. But the happiness of life that Lord gives us, if we follow Him, is eternal. In this world, there are sufferings, because, we are not of this world.

And the world has hated them, because they don’t belong to the world, just as I don’t belong to the world.” John 17:14

Even if we choose to follow Him or not to follow Him, the sufferings are sure to come. But the difference lies on the fact that 'how we humans face these sufferings'. If we are choosing to stand with worldly love, for a moment we will enjoy the present happiness, but we will surely loose it and we will suffer endlessly without any help and finally we will give up, fully damaged and destroyed. But, if we are choosing to follow our Lord and to submit ourselves to Him, we will live in this world with our Lord, who will carry us in His hands and prepares us for everything during our sufferings, and it is the one, who won over this world, that is with us. He lived in this world, suffered and died in this world, but after a day of silence, He rose forever defeating this world, to take us along with Him to the eternal kingdom with everlasting happiness.

Hence, let us think wisely and realize the difference in sufferings that we will endure in this world with and without following our Lord. Now let us choose the right one. When Our Lord asks us to deny all that we have and take our cross and follow Him, He actually directs us to deny the sufferings of the entities of this world, that we have to face alone, and take the cross that God has given us, which is lighter for us to carry, the rest, God will carry for us. How marvelous is His ways. How great is Our Lords care for us. Why we are being fooled by this worlds magical exhausting love, while our Lord calls us with both hands opening to help us through our journey of life in this world. When the world attracts us to be a slave for its lust that parasites on us to our destruction, Our Lord calls us to win over this world and gain eternal happiness. Let us never fear or be fooled anymore.

"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” John 14:27

This peace in our sufferings is more than enough for us than anything. The peace that God provides in our sufferings, if we walk with Him is like an anesthesia during a major operation. We will know nothing in passing through this difficult period, our Lord carries us on His shoulders.

In this week of passion let us realize that the sufferings of Christ due to this world guided Him to resurrection forever. Christ held strongly to Father in heaven. With the confidence in Father Almighty and along with the tears of Mother Mary ,He got strength to endure the cross till Calvary and beyond it. Even though the worldly powers rejoiced, this was only for a moment, after a day of silence, Christ rose with full power that is everlasting and promising for the children of God. Let us bring Christ to our life to live in this world and win over it for an everlasting resurrection.

Lord loving Father in heaven, help us to realize the truth of living with You. Guide us into the proper way of enjoying life's happiness that is everlasting. Let us not be fooled by this world by fearing us and walking away from You. Make us Your own and transform us as Your child who lives with You forever in confidence. Amen.

Palm Sunday

Are we ready to fetch a donkey for our Jesus?

Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find an ass tied, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to me. If any one says anything to you, you shall say, `The Lord has need of them,' and he will send them immediately.”

Jesus disciples ,when they were asked to do something by their master, they did it without any doubt or hesitation. They did so because they were appointed by the most trusted and supreme and the one who cleared off all their ways to the entrusted job. Jesus cleared the point of hesitation in His disciples mind.”If any one says anything to you, you shall say, `The Lord has need of them,' and he will send them immediately.”This gave them confidence to proceed in their mission. They completely dedicated themselves in the word of Jesus to carry out their mission and fulfill Christ's wish.

Jesus asks each one us to do the same. The Jesus, with whom we walk each day and each time of our life entrusts us with duties like this, duties according to His wish. He clears us the way, He prepares us in all means and asks from us to fulfill it. Are we able to do it without hesitation? Are we able to trust Him completely as the disciples did? Probably our answer will be No. For getting what God really ask from us, we have to go deeper into the Hosanna of our Lord.

The Christ-disciple relationship is presented to the world in the Palm Sunday. Jesus Christ, was walking with the disciples for a long time. From the Gospel voice of the Bible we can see that, in their flaws, doubts, mistakes, confusions, shattering, Jesus were with them, building them day by day in a strong foundation of Fathers love. Jesus grew in them day after day and finally when the disciples were mature in Jesus and God the Father, Jesus asks them to show Him to the world. He asks them to fetch for a donkey. A donkey is a humble, down-to-earth animal that only knows to obey. Upon such a humble creation, Jesus was showed to the world by the disciples in the right time as suggested by God. The world praised Jesus and glorified His name.

In the same way Jesus is walking with us now. When God calls us to fetch Him a donkey, we know that Jesus is strongly built in us and now it is our duty to show Him through us to the world in the right time chosen by God. For this we must allow Jesus to walk with us, grow in us and mature in us, He is the one make us complete, then we will be ready to fetch the donkey for our Lord.

When we are in a specific mission, it may be our family, our job, our state of life, a disease, a handicap or a position, that the God entrusts us into, we must have the confidence that Jesus built in the disciples, we must believe in Him who assigned us the duty. He is sure to clear our way, if we walk through the path that He shows us. This will help us to fulfill the duty according to Gods wish and thus leading to the presentation of our Lords glory for the whole world through us.

In this Palm Sunday, let us reflect our relationship with Jesus. Let us see how much has He grown in us and are we allowing Him to walk with us and build us to the perfection for the right time chosen by God. Let us submit all our missions to Him and be confident in Him and His ways. Let also be the channel of showing Lord to the whole world.Hosanna to the Lord.

"Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest."- Mathew 21:9

Lord Jesus teach us to be humble. Help us to realize that You are walking with us always and You are wishing to build us in strong foundation of Gods love and make us perfect for the right time. Let You grow in us and we be reduced. Amen.

Week 5 of Lent

God, Foresees, Prepares, Cares and Delivers

God knows each of our steps. He watches us every time.

"Nothing in all the world can be hidden from God. He can clearly see all things. Everything is open before him. And to him we must explain the way we have lived."-Hebrews 4:13

If our life is enriched with prayer, we can feel His presence every time.We feel Him carrying us.

"You are all around me—in front of me and behind me.
I feel your hand on my shoulder."- Psalms 139:5

We always can sense the marvelous ways that we are being guided by Our Father. We can always realize that, God foresees our requirement before we are aware of it and He prepares the entire way for us. Only what we have to do is,to hold hands of God and walk, rest everything is ready already.

"Your Father knows what you need before you ask him."- Mathew 6:8

If there is an envelope of our prayer in our life, there is a transparency for God to act for us even before we know what will happen next.

"I am amazed at what you know;
it is too much for me to understand.
Your Spirit is everywhere I go."-Psalms 139:6-7

But the failure of prayer and forgetting God in our life can make a block ,even if God can foresee what is going to happen or even if He is watching us all time, our hard hardheartedness create an opaqueness in the way for God to act.We may get exposed to worlds harshness. Only when we realize our flaws, return from our pride , humble before God and make our heart melt in tears, the way will become transparent for God to work for us.

The moment He finds us truly repenting and seeking help,He will amaze us by His mercy and love, delivering us in perfection.

Hence, let not our own acts ruin us. Let not our own pride block our relation with our Father, preventing Him from caring us.Because God is our amazing creator, He always foresees, prepares, cares and delivers us.

Lord God guide us to remain in prayer always, as this makes me more closer to you every time and this delivers me from the worlds harshness because you send your angel before me and set my path and as i walk through, you carry me on your shoulder. AMEN

Make Life a Blessing with God

What ever we have got in our life in this world is from God. When we think of our blessings we know that these are things that we got unexpectedly or something that brought us great happiness in our life. When we back trace the gain of this blessings we can see that it is by the great mercy of God that we got this blessings.

when we list out the things that we gained by our own self, we can see that these things may have caused us some troubles or failures or is still concerning us. Our powers are not perfect and not straight. The thing gained by this manner can never be a blessing but is just a passion of our selfish mind.

Thus all our happiness is from God. All our blessings that make us happy and guides us to pure life of perfection is from our God.

In this Lent let us be able to differentiate the blessings in our life and the selfish gains in our life and realize the greatness of our God and the perishable gains of our self. Once we realize this our tears wont stop thanking Our dear Father for showing us such a great mercy even when we are sinners and even we forget Him for our selfish gains.

Life is made beautiful in Gods blessing. Hence let us not struggle in our own selfish motives to gain something that our mind desire instead in all things let us submit to God and wait for His plans to reveal, do according to this and make it a blessing.

but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6

Let us think of Jesus who did all His works in the name of the Father for His glory to be revealed.

Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, 'He is our God' John 8:54

I can do nothing alone. I judge only the way I am told. And my judgment is right, because I am not trying to please myself. I want only to please the one who sent me.” John 5:30

When we do things like this, there is less struggle, less tension, less hurts to others, but more blessings. Let us pray to God and call to Him for each thing that we do. Let us wait for His time, for this is perfect and eternal to us. Let us praise Him and thank Him in all situations, this will bring an unexpected wisdom for us.Let us not struggle ourselves for our gain but leave it to God.

Lord God teach us Your ways, help us to be like Jesus giving glory to You in all He does. Make us humble in all we do and transform our life to a blessing for others and a perfection in Your creation. Amen.

Let our Talks Be Guided in Gods Wisdom

But Mary treasured all these things, pondering them in her heart. -Luke 2:19

This is something that we find hard to do sometimes. If we are bursting in ideas, or plans ,or if we have something to say about our achievement we find if often difficult to control our tongue. Even if its in a group of friends or relatives or well wishers we try to bring onto focus our points and ideas. We go on talking. If it is a situation of tension or a situation which made us feel bad of something, we find it difficult to control our tongues. But God says to us to talk less.

Mother Mary ,who had a life full of blessings, trials and hardships was always seen to treasure it in her heart and giving thanks to God and being humble for Gods wish to be fulfilled through Her. But if we imagine this in our life, we make a story behind our each incident.

If something is happening the way that we don't like, we adjust our talks so as to avoid what is going to happen, to come into the way that we like. But we never think of the consequences that will follow for that momentary adjustment talk. We may knowingly sometimes reject someone that we really know, or may betray someone that is mean to us, or may tell a lie to add a pomp to the matter, we may hurt someone or give a false to praise someone. Simple talks get us on to a false situation that displays an untrue self.

It is the same with our tongue. It is a small part of the body, but it can boast about doing great things.
A big forest fire can be started with only a little flame. The tongue is like a fire. It is a world of evil among the parts of our body. It spreads its evil through our whole body and starts a fire that influences all of life. It gets this fire from hell.” James 3:5-6

We use our tongues to praise our Lord and Father, but then we curse people who were created in God’s likeness. These praises and curses come from the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, this should not happen. James 3:9-10

Our tongue that make us talks a lot can make us the most impure. It is said that,

It is not what people put in their mouth that makes them wrong. It is what comes out of their mouth that makes them wrong.” Mathew 15:11

Sometimes we might even know how our talks carry us away to a false world. We boast a lot and pretend about what we aren't in reality.

We must take care how our tongue controls our talking. For that we must have the wisdom of God. We must be guided by Gods wisdom all the time. We must be able to give the control of our tongue to our Father Almighty. We must pray to God always so that we can walk in His guidance always.

Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips. Psalms 141:3

We should be the same in front of all. We should never add up or slip off in our talks to something that we are not. Let our talks and tongues be in Gods hands.

Do not be a hypocrite before others,
and keep watch over your lips. Sirach 1:29

A slip on the pavement is preferable
to a slip of the tongue; Sirach 20-18

Avoid idle talk, and you will avoid a lot of trouble. Sirach 19:1

keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.” Psalms 34:13

Let us submit the weakness of our tongue and the uncontrollable talks in the hands of God. Let Him take our control. Next time when we feel out of control in our talks, or slips in our chats, or boasting among our groups, let us think of our God, let us think of Jesus who suffered due to a false tongue of Judas and who inturn was led to a suicide by this tongue. Let us think of all the incidents that come to our mind that our tongue made us to sin or made a false talk, or made someone hurt or wasted someone’s time. Let us feel sorry for this and submit ourselves to the hands of Almighty to give us His wisdom in all that we talk.Let us learn to treasure our thing sin our heart and submit it to God, let Him guide us the way we can use it.

Lord God help us to control our talks and let us talk only in Your wisdom and guidance. Always make us aware not to hurt someone or waste someone's time with our boastful talks. Teach us to be humble in all that we say and make us a good listener. Put Your words of life in our tongue that we may be a living word giving hope and life to others. Amen

23. March 25, 2014 -23rd Day of Lent

Defeat the world with God and Be Perfect in Him

In the letter of Paul to Ephesians chapter 6:11-18, God shows us the perfect way to live in this world. They way to tide over the nasty tricks that the world plays on us. As long as we are in this world, we are exposed to its powers. But these powers can no longer enslave us because Our Saviour Jesus Christ has gained victory over this world and has defeated each and everything that is of this world. We are the children of Victory and not slavery. We should no longer be enslaved by the powers of this world. But in everything that we do, we must control it with the power of our Living God.

We often forget this truth and gets beaten by the worldly desires. We curse others for our condition. We stay selfish for our gain. We compete with our fellow beings, we get angry with out mates. All these acts from our side is gradually destroying ourselves, about which we are ignorant. We are really being fooled by the worldly powers, these powers rage us to stay in tension every moment and finally we get trampled on the ground, good for nothing.

For this our Lord says to us that,

Our fight is not against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness. We are fighting against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places. -Ephesians 6:12

This rulers, powers and authorities of the world's darkness is found within us. Our passions, desires, selfish motives, and all such things that has gained dominion over us, taking our control, are the ones that make us impure. These powers keeps us away from God. We may find ourselves to loose our control over them.

In this Lenten time, we will face many temptations from these powers and authorities of the dark world. The foods that has enslaved us, the TV programmes that has taken our control, the web pages, the internet sites, the friendships, the desires, our emotions, anger, selfishness, our mentalities and attitudes and all such things that has enslaved us are the authorities and powers in us that is controlling us. God asks to fight against this evil spiritual powers dominating in us. We are the heavenly place for God. No evil should control it.

The body is for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. And God will raise our bodies from death with the same power he used to raise the Lord Jesus. Surely you know that your bodies are parts of Christ himself.
You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit that you received from God and that lives in you. You don’t own yourselves. God paid a very high price to make you his. So honour God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:13-14,19-2

As our Father in Heaven helped Jesus to win over the powers and authorities of the dark world, we are also chosen to follow the same way with complete help and endless grace from our Loving Father and Jesus through the blood that He shed for saving us. But the promise that we should give to our Lord is our sincere commitment and love towards Him for saving us. Our God has equipped us with all weapons to fight against this powers. Let us recognize it and use it to win this world.

'That is why you need to get God’s full armour. Then on the day of evil, you will be able to stand strong. And when you have finished the whole fight, you will still be standing. So stand strong with the belt of truth tied around your waist, and on your chest wear the protection of right living. On your feet wear the Good News of peace to help you stand strong. And also use the shield of faith with which you can stop all the burning arrows that come from the Evil One. Accept God’s salvation as your helmet. And take the sword of the Spirit—that sword is the teaching of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready. Never give up. Always pray for all of God’s people.' Ephesians 6:13-18

With constant prayer and sincere commitment to our Lord we can win over the worldly influences in us. Let us begin our fight against the things that is overpowering us. This can be a small thing or a big thing, no matter the how deep or how great or how small the power is, let us begin the fight with prayer to our Lord. It is sure to have victory in Him.

Let us reflect ourselves and find out the things that influence us the most. It can be a habit or a food or an emotion or a relation or a program or media or dresses or a weakness or anything that haunts our mind always are we find it difficult to overcome it. Let us give that in hands of God and take the armour and start the fight. Let God be helped by us to change us like Him.

When we are being enslaved by the worldly powers and is tempted to do wrong, ask for Gods wisdom that moment, ask His help to take our armour. He will help us to do good always and guide us to keep ourselves holy. Let us offer our lives to Him, He will make us perfect.

offer your lives as a living sacrifice to him—an offering that is only for God and pleasing to him. Considering what he has done, it is only right that you should worship him in this way. Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect.” Romans 12:1-2

Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for giving us Jesus. Help us so that we can live like Him without shaking from You. Help us to realize the powers and authorities of the darkness of this world that is ruling us and in our friends ,and taking us away from You. Give us wisdom to take the armour that You has given us in the right time for fighting against the world and winning over it to keep ourselves heavenly for You to reside in us and transform us in Your love. Amen.
