Are we ready to fetch a donkey for our Jesus?
“Jesus
sent two disciples, saying
to them, "Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you
will find an ass tied, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them
to me. If
any one says anything to you, you shall say, `The Lord has need of
them,' and he will send them immediately.”
Jesus disciples ,when they were
asked to do something by their master, they did it without any doubt
or hesitation. They did so because they were appointed by the most
trusted and supreme and the one who cleared off all their ways to the
entrusted job. Jesus cleared the point of hesitation in His disciples
mind.”If
any one says anything to you, you shall say, `The Lord has need of
them,' and he will send them immediately.”This gave them confidence
to proceed in their mission. They completely dedicated themselves in
the word of Jesus to carry out their mission and fulfill Christ's
wish.
Jesus
asks each one us to do the same. The Jesus, with whom we walk each
day and each time of our life entrusts us with duties like this,
duties according to His wish. He clears us the way, He prepares us in
all means and asks from us to fulfill it. Are we able to do it without
hesitation? Are we able to trust Him completely as the disciples did?
Probably our answer will be No. For getting what God really ask from
us, we have to go deeper into the Hosanna of our Lord.
The
Christ-disciple relationship is presented to the world in the Palm
Sunday. Jesus Christ, was walking with the disciples for a long time.
From the Gospel voice of the Bible we can see that, in their flaws,
doubts, mistakes, confusions, shattering,
Jesus were with them, building them day by day in a strong foundation
of Fathers love. Jesus grew in them day after day and finally when
the disciples were mature in Jesus and God the Father, Jesus asks
them to show Him to the world. He asks them to fetch for a donkey. A
donkey is a humble, down-to-earth animal that only knows to obey.
Upon such a humble creation, Jesus was showed to the world by the
disciples in the right time as suggested by God. The world praised
Jesus and glorified His name.
In
the same way Jesus is walking with us now. When God calls us to fetch
Him a donkey, we know that Jesus is strongly built in us and now it
is our duty to show Him through us to the world in the right time
chosen by God. For this we must allow Jesus to walk with us, grow in
us and mature in us,
He
is the one make us complete, then we will be ready to fetch the
donkey for our Lord.
When we are in a specific mission, it may be our family, our job, our state of life, a disease, a handicap or a position, that the God entrusts us into, we must have the confidence that Jesus built in the disciples, we must believe in Him who assigned us the duty. He is sure to clear our way, if we walk through the path that He shows us. This will help us to fulfill the duty according to Gods wish and thus leading to the presentation of our Lords glory for the whole world through us.

In
this Palm Sunday, let us reflect our relationship with Jesus. Let us
see how much has He grown in us and are we allowing Him to walk with
us and build us to the perfection for the right time chosen by God. Let us submit all our missions to Him and be confident in Him and His ways. Let also be the channel of showing Lord to the whole world.Hosanna to the Lord.
"Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest."- Mathew 21:9

Lord
Jesus teach us to be humble. Help us to realize that You are walking
with us always and You are wishing to build us in strong foundation
of Gods love and make us perfect for the right time. Let You grow in
us and we be reduced. Amen.
